Good news await fans of Bigg Boss as Salman Khan is bringing back the 17th instalment of the show, dubbed Bigg Boss 17, tonight. The highly successful Indian reality TV show follows the format of the Dutch reality game show Big Brother that was first aired in the year 1999. The makers of the show unveiled the Bigg Boss 17 list of contestants via individual promos, giving a glimpse of the final participating contestants in the upcoming season.

Bigg Boss 17 release date, cast, and more
The upcoming season of Bigg Boss will air starting Monday, October 16, 2023. The timings for the same are Monday to Friday at 10 p. m. and Saturday to Sunday at 9 p. m. on Colors TV and JioCinema. The trailer for the show revealed some popular names who will be competing for the season’s title. Actress Ankita Lokhande with her husband, Vicky Jain, will be joining other couples, including Isha Malviya-Abhishek Kumar and Neil Bhatt-Aishwarya Sharma.
Journalist Jigna Vora is also a part of Bigg Boss 17. She will be joined by actor Mannara Chopra, comedian Munawar Faruqui, and criminal lawyer Sana Raees Khan. UK’s sassy pharmacist Navid Sole will also join the show as an international contestant with actors Rinku Dhawan, Feroza Khan, and Soniya Bansal. Fans can expect YouTubers Sunny Arya, Arun Srikanth, and Anurag Dhobal to join the ensemble as well.
This season of Bigg Boss will showcase 17 celebrities in the opulent house for over 105 days. However, this time, the participants will be categorized into Dil (heart), Dimag (mind), and Dum (soul), each with special powers. Bigg Boss has also revealed that certain contestants will have special powers, altering the game for them.
In the past 17 years, Bigg Boss has rolled out seventeen seasons, one spin-off version, and two OTT seasons. It premiered on ColorsTV on October 15, 2023, and via digital stream on JioCinema. Salman Khan is hosting the series for the fourteenth time.
